You left the window open all night.
Some random wind whirled pass your calendar. A thin page got ripped off, it read: September 15.

You woke up, found yourself in your small crumpled bed, had your tears moistened the pillow already.
Tears. They slid down quietly, non-stopping, followed by teeny heart aches, like a needle striking a piece of transparent monster candy, leaving small whiten dents all over the surface.

You knew there were some memories, some new threads that has just been ripped off of your mind, like flatly hanged spider webs torn by heavy rain—and they do flow, away those transparent silk can drift with wind—and you ended up having your memories decomposed like an apple on the top of an anthill. That inevitable decay, that force that you can’t fight no matter how—

But you could rewind, this you recalled.
Though you had promised yourself not to use the power.
You chose to live a calm ordinary life, just as promised.
And it’s a full year gone with every thump of rain, grasp of wind, and it’s not factually your fault that there isn’t much left in a kid’s brain.

You closed your eyes, banging your head repetitively on the bedroom wall, trying to ease the mental pain by a fiercer physical one as you slowly recall a few frames of the past.

Ebott.
A fall.
Soft flowers.
Monsters.
Pink, purple.
White.
Skeletons.
Ketchup.
Cave.
Spears.
Heat.
Grey.
Souls.
Barrier…?

Some fragments you just couldn’t recall. Maybe—just maybe, it’s because you have long forgot the fact that you had once forced yourself to forget.

But you recollected that you did kill out of fear, or some depravation, perhaps a bit curiosity too.
You had went for death alone. You had failed the attempt, yet succeeded the battle against death; though this doesn’t mean you didn’t regret. In fact, you harmed people through the journey while healing your own wounds, broken in alone and left accompanied by solitude—yet there’s so much that could be done to alter the fate of those who accepted a human being—so you had your decision.

It was by no means an easy move to make, because you have fought hard for a place in your ‘dearest’ human society. But you decided to abandon what you have for what you could have own—a rather imprudent decision, more of an adventure, or some madness.

So there you stood, on the edge of Ebott a year later, looking down into the familiar deep, dark pit.

It hasn’t changed a bit.

But you did.

You aren’t seeking for death this time. You aren’t afraid.

You felt…somewhat ecstatic, for your hands kept quivering intractably.

You told yourself, you were ready to correct your own mistakes, and that you decided to confront whoever that tries to strike you down.

You felt yourself invincible.

* You leaped off.

* Your felt your soul brimming with, DETERMINATION.

One year later, a group of people went to Mount Ebott, to find out the mystery of children’s missing.

According to villagers’statement, the person who climbed the mountain never comes back.

The last missing child named Frisk, was wearing a striped pink and a blue shirt.

People found a huge hole on top of the mountain.

They carefully went down with tight ropes.

They felt strange when going down, like something slipped their faces.

They stood on the golden flowers which could also be seen in the village.

Maybe the wind blew the seeds of the golden flower to the underground.

The space in the hole was much larger than their prediction.

People first saw the ruins, where all the puzzles had been solved.

The ruins were too huge to find the right direction.

Some people found a sight spot in the ruins to see the whole underground world.

Out of the ruins people saw the forest with ice and snow.

At the end of the forest, there was a village.

There was a bar,a library, a store and an inn, but nobody lived here.

Where were the villagers?

People kept walking forward. They reached a waterful world.

The shinning stone above the cave were like stars in the sky.

They could see blue flowers, but when coming close to them, people's ears were annoyed by the mess of noises.

They found some words on the wall, telling the history of "monsters".

However, there was no even a trail of any monsters.

The deeper people went, the more amazing things they found.

It seemed that a fantastic civilization used to exist in underground,
but for some reason, all of the citizens disappeared.

Everything was covered by dust.

At the end of the underground world, they found a palace.

The golden corridor in the palace was destroyed heavily.

They could see bones and skulls everywhere.

Some dust were covering on a blue jacket and a red scarf.

People found seven coffins in one room.

“This festival stands for the reunion of a family.”

You stayed determination, called his name again and again.
It was still quiet.
At last, you put the mooncake on the ground, whispered “Happy Mid-autumn Festival.”, then you left.

After Frisk left, Flowey appeared beside the mooncake.
He cried slightly.
“I don’t want you to see me like it.”
